- Georgette and satin: better for evening functions than for daily wear.
3. Fit and length
A straight kurti flatters most body types and is the safest pick. An A-line balances the waist. Embroidered kurtis look best with a slightly relaxed fit because the pattern gets room to show. Knee length reads as smart for work, while a longer kurti suits functions.
4. Colour
White, off-white and pastels suit every skin tone and work well by day. Mustard, rust and sea green flatter warm and wheatish tones. Maroon, wine and bottle green are the safest evening and wedding picks.
5. Size
